Construction Solicitor – Professional Support Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor to join our Professional Support team in Oxfordshire. In this flexible role you will enhance the practice’s knowledge resources, drive legal innovation and support both contentious and non‑contentious construction matters.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop non‑contentious construction precedents, including JCT and NEC contracts.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and produce technical updates and guidance.
• Deliver internal training sessions and support client publications and seminars.
• Drive innovation through legal technology, AI tools and automated document creation.
• Provide technical research support and ensure best practice across the department.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE in construction and engineering law.
• Strong drafting ability and attention to detail when working with precedents.
• Experience in knowledge‑management or professional‑support roles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Building Safety Act 2022 and legal technology is a plus.
