Construction Tutor – Level 1 & 2 Training (Gloucester)

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Tutor to join our specialist training centre in Gloucester. The role is ideal for a construction professional who wants to transition into education and deliver Level 1 and Level 2 programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical training in groundworks, brickwork, multi‑skill construction and basic carpentry.
• Run classroom‑based theory sessions and provide underpinning knowledge.
• Support learners with practical assessments, coursework and progress monitoring.
• Maintain a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in construction, particularly groundworks, brickwork, multi‑skill trades or general building work.
• Enthusiasm for helping learners develop their skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
