Consultant - Change

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Change Consultant to lead change activities within university transformation programmes. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol or Manchester, and involves regular travel to partner sites across the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver change activities across programmes, collaborating with delivery, data and partner teams.
• Conduct change impact assessments and design appropriate interventions.
• Drive readiness activities, manage adoption risks and track embedding of new ways of working.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement approaches.
• Create communications, training and support materials.
• Maintain governance artefacts such as RAID logs, reporting and documentation.
• Contribute to internal tools, methods and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in change, transformation or delivery roles.
• Strong understanding of change management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver change within programmes and translate system/process changes into user impact.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Organised, analytical and proactive approach.
