About the role
We are seeking a Consultant in Stroke/General Rehabilitation Medicine to join the Fife Rehabilitation Service. The role involves delivering high‑quality inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate stroke and general rehabilitation pathways for patients in both acute and community settings.
- Collaborate with specialist nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech‑and‑language therapists, dietitians and clinical psychologists.
- Maintain close links with local stroke units, major trauma teams and neurosurgery services.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Fife Rehabilitation Service.
Required profile
- Medical qualification with registration to practise in the UK.
- Experience in stroke and/or general rehabilitation medicine.
- Commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and high standards of patient care.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
