Consultant Solicitor – Flexible Fee Split Model

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP, an award‑winning national law firm, is seeking experienced solicitors to join its Consultant Solicitor programme. Working as a self‑employed consultant, you will benefit from the firm’s extensive support while maintaining full autonomy over your practice and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of civil and disciplinary matters from intake to resolution.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice and representation to professional and corporate clients.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and firm policies.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop and grow your own client base while contributing to the firm’s revenue.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience and a proven track record of at least £100,000 annual billing.
• Ability to work independently, manage cases confidently and uphold the firm’s values of integrity and tenacity.
• Strong client following or the capacity to build one quickly.
