Consultant Solicitor – Flexible Remote Role

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed Consultant Solicitors. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office while building your own client base within a supportive, compliance‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload from intake to resolution, ensuring high‑quality legal advice.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, aiming for a minimum billing target of £100,000 per annum.
• Provide specialist legal services across disciplinary, commercial and private client matters.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to meet regulatory obligations.
• Participate in regular in‑house training and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience and a proven track record of managing cases independently.
• Demonstrated ability to generate a client following and meet high billing thresholds.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously while adhering to firm standards.
