About the role
Our client, a US‑based mid‑market investment bank with a strong track record in the consumer sector, is expanding its M&A team in London. The firm is hiring for both Associate and Senior Analyst positions to support consumer‑focused transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the origination of new M&A opportunities within the consumer industry.
- Support the execution of deals, including due‑diligence, financial modelling and valuation analysis.
- Prepare presentation materials, pitch books and client reports.
- Collaborate with senior bankers and cross‑functional teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of investment banking experience at a leading bank, boutique, mid‑market house or an accountancy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work on both origination and execution phases of M&A transactions.
- Strong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in the consumer sector.
Required skills
- Technical skills relevant to M&A analysis (e.g., financial modelling, valuation).
