About the role
We are seeking an experienced Container Estimator to join a leading container depot at London Gateway. The role involves assessing, recording and estimating the condition of containers arriving at the depot, supporting safe and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect incoming containers and accurately report on condition and grading.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates for damaged containers, supported by photographic evidence.
- Monitor and manage traffic movements within the depot to ensure safe operation.
- Provide clear instructions to ECH operators to support HGV operational requirements.
Required profile
- Previous experience within a container depot environment is essential.
- Knowledge of IICL/CSC standards would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Experience producing damage and repair estimates is desirable.
- A flexible and reliable team player, comfortable in a demanding operational setting.
