Content Writer – Technical B2B Marketing (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Content Writer to join a major marketing transformation in Romsey. You will craft technical B2B content that resonates with audiences and supports four strategic campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write and edit white papers, case studies, blogs, datasheets and other long‑form assets.
• Interview subject‑matter experts to produce accurate, credible technical content.
• Develop cornerstone messaging and support the rollout of a new brand tone of voice.
• Create SEO‑informed copy from agency briefs to boost organic search performance.
• Maintain an organised library of approved content assets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content writing, content marketing, journalism or technical writing.
• Track record of producing long‑form thought leadership and white papers.
• Experience working with subject‑matter experts, agencies and senior stakeholders.
• Background in technology, engineering, defence or similarly complex B2B sectors is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
