Continuous Improvement Manager – Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead efficiency and waste‑reduction initiatives across our busy packaging operation at a leading UK food manufacturer. You will drive OEE improvements, support new technology roll‑outs and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Drive OEE improvements and reduce downtime, waste and material losses on packaging lines.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SMED and Root Cause Analysis projects.
• Optimise packaging equipment, processes and material performance.
• Support implementation of new packaging technologies and automation.
• Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach operational teams and embed continuous improvement practices.
• Deliver projects that enhance efficiency, quality, sustainability and cost performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager, Packaging Technologist or Operational Excellence Manager.
• Manufacturing background, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Passion for driving change and delivering measurable results.
