Contract & Commercial Manager

About the role

Framatome is seeking a Contract & Commercial Manager to support the Hinkley Point C nuclear power plant construction site. Based in Bridgwater, you will ensure contractual compliance and drive commercial activities across the project, working closely with EDF/NNB and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and administer the main contract and associated sub‑contracts for the UK4101 scope.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, milestones and deliverables.
• Interpret contract clauses and provide guidance to project teams.
• Lead contractual correspondence with the client and handle notifications, claims and variation orders.
• Coordinate Early Warning management for site‑related topics.
• Prepare commercial offers, variation proposals and budgetary offers, and attend internal offer review meetings.
• Clarify and negotiate variation requests and proposals with the customer.
• Facilitate communication between CCM teams (HPC and Framatome) and collect/clarify contract‑related requests from both customer and Framatome.
• Contribute to project risk reviews covering contractual and commercial aspects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract and commercial management within large‑scale construction or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of subcontract administration and contract compliance.
• Ability to interpret contract clauses and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills for client liaison and internal coordination.
• Experience handling claims, variation orders and early‑warning processes.
