Contract Manager – Municipal Waste

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Contract Manager to lead municipal waste contracts, ensuring service delivery meets defined KPIs and regulatory standards. You will work closely with clients, residents, unions and internal partners to drive ecological transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver municipal contracts in line with KPIs and specifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients, residents and unions.
• Manage resources – people, vehicles and equipment – prioritising safety and service quality.
• Implement and maintain compliance with company policies, fleet standards and regulatory legislation.
• Monitor financial performance, set budgets and manage monthly expenditure.
• Assess competency of Service Delivery Managers and Chargehands through observations and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Extensive waste and fleet management experience.
• Proven project management and data integration background.
• Strong client management and senior operational leadership experience.
• Solid financial management skills with ability to set and control budgets.

Required skills

• TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) for financial planning and reporting.
