Contract Manager – Transport & Logistics

About the role

The Contract Manager will lead the operational, financial and service delivery performance of the Eurocell contract for Kinaxia Logistics. You will oversee a multi‑site transport operation, ensure compliance with legislation and drive continuous improvement across a 24/5 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations at Alfreton and out‑bases in Bristol, Colchester and Newcastle, managing a 40‑vehicle fleet.
• Lead a team of six staff, handling rotas, performance reviews, coaching and mentorship.
• Hold full P&L responsibility for the £8 million contract, managing budgets and cost efficiencies.
• Act as primary contact for Eurocell, ensuring service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with UK and international transport legislation, driver hours, tachographs and O‑licence obligations.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements to boost OTIF performance, profitability and fleet utilisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport or logistics management with strong P&L accountability.
• Knowledge of UK and international transport legislation.
• Holder of a valid CPC (National and International) – essential.
• Ability to travel between sites and provide out‑of‑hours escalation support.
