Contracts Coordinator

About the role

The Contracts Coordinator will act as the operational hub for Tarmac Baggeridge Contracting, linking suppliers, site teams, plant providers and management. You will keep projects moving smoothly by coordinating deliveries, managing purchase orders and supporting operational planning across the Midlands.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate plant, vehicle and equipment hire requirements and monitor deliveries.
• Raise and manage purchase orders in SAP for transport, plant hire, skips and welfare units.
• Process goods received notes (GRNs) and resolve invoice queries.
• Maintain operational records, tonnage reports and production diaries.
• Support weekly operational and distribution planning activities.
• Manage vehicle servicing, MOTs, breakdowns and maintenance schedules.
• Handle incoming enquiries and provide administrative support to operational teams.
• Assist commercial and management teams with accurate reporting and data management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an administrative, operations, logistics or coordination role.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
