Contracts Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the Contracts Manager will lead the delivery of multiple construction projects across East Anglia. You will ensure each project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from pre‑construction through to completion.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
• Lead and support Site Managers and delivery teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Drive quality standards and client satisfaction across all projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
• Track record of delivering new‑build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS, CSCS and relevant construction qualifications preferred.
