Contracts Manager – EMEA

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its London office, supporting commercial and technology transactions across the EMEA region. Working closely with in‑region counsel and lead counsel, you will draft, review and negotiate contracts that enable the company’s cutting‑edge AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, analyze, negotiate and finalize complex commercial agreements with enterprise customers, vendors and strategic partners, including IP licensing agreements.
• Propose and develop scalable solutions to improve contracting efficiency and streamline contract management processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, Business Operations, Research and Procurement teams to deliver strategic, business‑focused counsel.
• Partner with in‑region and lead counsel to triage regional legal matters and coordinate workload between regional and global teams.
• Drive rollout of global process improvements, policy updates and local enablement sessions for cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Substantive knowledge of software, SaaS, reseller, services and strategic partnership agreements.
• Ability to independently draft, review and negotiate complex commercial and procurement contracts.
• 8+ years of contract management experience, with at least 5 years supporting technology transactions, sales organisations or partnerships.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced technology startup and collaborating with distributed global legal teams.
• Strong autonomous work style with excellent async communication and stakeholder management.
