Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to help shape a new Cat A + B fit‑out business unit for a national main contractor with a 40‑year history in roofing and external works. The role offers the chance to work on industrial and commercial projects valued between £500k and £2m within a well‑resourced, micromanagement‑averse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple industrial and commercial fit‑out projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement contract strategies for new Cat A and Cat B fit‑out offerings.
• Administer JCT contracts and ensure commercial compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience managing industrial and commercial fit‑out projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects typically valued between £500k and £2m.
• Good knowledge of Cat A and Cat B office fit‑outs and industrial refurbishments.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑facing skills.
