Control Panel Wireperson – Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Control Panel Wireperson to join a long‑established electronics manufacturer’s workshop in Blandford Forum, Dorset. You will build bespoke HVAC and BMS control panels, working from engineering drawings in a busy production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to assemble control panels.
• Cut, route and terminate wires on complex panels.
• Apply wiring standards and maintain high‑quality workmanship.
• Adhere to company policies, health & safety procedures and production schedules.

Required profile

• Reliable and able to work at pace in a production team.
• Willing to maintain high quality standards.
• Commitment to follow company policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics.
• Experience with mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in cutting, routing and terminating wires.
• Knowledge of wiring standards.

What we offer

• Permanent position with a competitive market‑related hourly rate.
• 36.5 hours per week – Mon‑Thu 09:00‑17:00, Fri 09:00‑16:00.
• Paid overtime at 1.3× on weekdays and 1.5× at weekends.
• On‑site work in a friendly workshop environment.
