Control System Engineer

About the role

Rolls Royce is seeking a Control System Engineer to join its Control System delivery team in Bristol. You will work on flagship aerospace and defence programmes, including the Reactor Protection System for the Small Modular Reactor, delivering high‑performance control solutions across civil and defence sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for changes to requirements, design, verification and validation strategy for control systems.
• Integrate activities across control systems, software development, electronics and system security disciplines.
• Analyse system behaviour and performance using modelling and simulation to confirm compliance with requirements and support issue resolution.
• Produce engineering work products, reports and knowledge documentation, and advise project stakeholders on progress and next steps.
