Controls Engineer – Siemens & SCADA (Field Based)

About the role

We are seeking a Controls Engineer with strong Siemens and SCADA experience to join a leading CIP manufacturing company. The role is field‑based, requiring travel to client sites across the UK while supporting the design and maintenance of control systems for tanker cleaning equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and implement control systems for tanker cleaning equipment.
• Design, code, test and troubleshoot PLC programs from scratch.
• Develop, program and support SCADA and HMI interfaces.
• Provide technical expertise across a range of PLC and SCADA platforms.
• Travel to client sites up to two days per week to deliver on‑site support.

Required profile

• Qualified Controls Engineer or equivalent with a full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations throughout the UK.
• Ability to work independently and act as the technical go‑to for the team.
