Convenience Store Team Member

About the role

Join a friendly neighbourhood store and become an essential part of the local community. As a Convenience Store Team Member you will help deliver excellent service to customers while working both independently and with colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tills and handle cash transactions, including occasional Post Office duties.
• Maintain stock levels, conduct stock control and replenish shelves.
• Arrange merchandise displays to maximise appeal.
• Prepare ready‑to‑eat food items when required.
• Ensure the store complies with health, safety and legal standards.
• Cover supervisory duties when needed (additional pay applies).
• Perform regular lone‑working tasks safely and confidently.

Required profile

• Enjoys providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexible with early‑morning and late‑evening shifts.
• Comfortable working independently during lone‑working periods.
• Over 18 years old for locations that sell alcohol.
