Conveyancer – Residential Property (Liverpool)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our Property department in Liverpool. The successful candidate will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, while supervising junior staff and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing portfolio in line with firm procedures.
• Progress matters efficiently, keeping clients informed of costs and timelines.
• Maintain high standards of client care, confidentiality and professional communication.
• Achieve billing and time‑recording targets and oversee credit control for your matters.
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior fee‑earners.
• Conduct AML checks, risk assessments and other compliance tasks.
• Ensure all work meets SRA, CQS and internal regulatory requirements.
• Complete monthly reviews, file audits and compliance actions.
• Maintain accurate records in the case‑management system.
• Support business development through articles and firm promotion.

Required profile

• Qualified Conveyancer with strong residential property experience.
• Proven ability to manage an end‑to‑end caseload independently.
• Solid understanding of AML, SRA and CQS compliance obligations.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment.
