Conveyancer – Residential Property Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join a growing residential property team in Chelmsford. You will manage a varied caseload of sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers, delivering a high‑quality service from instruction to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish.
• Handle sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Provide clear, professional advice to clients throughout the process.
• Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Prepare and review legal documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and meet required timescales.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and client‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Professional, proactive approach.
