Conveyancer – Residential Property Transactions

About the role

Our client, a well‑established law firm in Middlesbrough, is expanding its conveyancing team. They are looking for qualified conveyancers – from junior to senior – who enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment and want to manage a full residential property caseload.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own conveyancing portfolio from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new‑build transactions, transfers of equity and re‑mortgages.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors to ensure smooth progress.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified Conveyancer, Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.
• Open to candidates at any experience level.
• Strong communication and client‑care abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Residential conveyancing knowledge covering freehold, leasehold, new‑build and re‑mortgage transactions.
