Conveyancing Assistant – Chester (Full‑time)

About the role

This full‑time position offers an excellent opportunity to join a modern, award‑winning law firm in Chester. You will work within a supportive team of eight, providing essential assistance to experienced fee earners in the residential conveyancing department.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process.
• Update the case management system and maintain accurate records for each transaction.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
• Produce completion packs and ensure all documentation is ready for settlement.
• Handle completions, monitor deadlines and guarantee timely delivery of services.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a conveyancing department.
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a clear ambition to progress within the firm.
