Conveyancing Assistant – Residential Property (Career Progression)

About the role

We are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join our well‑established law firm in Bowdon, supporting a busy Residential Property practice. Working alongside an experienced Residential Conveyancer, you will handle cases from instruction through to completion, providing high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist a senior fee earner with a varied Residential Conveyancing caseload.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
• Prepare legal documentation, correspondence and completion statements.
• Maintain and update the firm’s case management system.
• Handle completions and post‑completion administration.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Residential Conveyancing department.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to develop a career in conveyancing.
