Conveyancing Fee Earner – Hybrid (3 years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well‑established, full‑service law firm in New Mills. Working within a friendly six‑person team, you will handle all aspects of residential conveyancing on a hybrid basis, supporting both freehold and leasehold transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including unregistered properties.
• Process new builds, shared‑ownership, auction properties and remortgages.
• Prepare and review transfer documents and liaise with clients, lenders and counterparties.
• Utilise the firm’s modern case‑management system to maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) or equivalent.
• Solicitor, CLC or CILEX qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in freehold, leasehold, unregistered property, new builds, shared ownership, auction sales and remortgages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously within a small team.
