Conveyancing Onboarding Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Administrator to join our client’s Conveyancing team in Chelmsford. This is an office‑based, full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:30 pm) offering a competitive salary of £26,000‑£27,000 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new conveyancing clients.
• Conduct client due‑diligence and compliance checks in line with company procedures.
• Prepare and review onboarding documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with clients, advisers, and internal departments to obtain required information.
• Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems.
• Support wider administration and compliance teams as needed.
• Ensure all onboarding processes are completed within agreed service levels.

Required profile

• Previous experience in client onboarding, conveyancing, compliance, or a similar administration role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional and confident approach when dealing with clients.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using internal CRM systems.
