Conveyancing Paralegal (Cambridge)

About the role

SJC Partners is recruiting an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy residential property team in Cambridge. You will manage conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, providing high‑quality support to clients and fee earners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files (freehold & leasehold)
• Handle sales, purchases, re‑mortgages and transfers of equity
• Draft and review legal documents and contracts
• Carry out title checks, searches and enquiries
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and AML requirements
• Maintain accurate case‑management system records

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant
• Solid understanding of the residential conveyancing process
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, client‑focused approach
