Conveyancing Solicitor – Residential Property (Hybrid)

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Adviser to join a dynamic residential property team in Crawley, West Sussex. The role combines hybrid working flexibility with meaningful office collaboration, handling a wide range of residential conveyancing matters, including high‑value and complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of residential property transactions, including complex and high‑value matters.
• Advise prospective clients, prepare matter estimates and pre‑instruction documentation.
• Draft and review legal documentation required to progress and complete matters efficiently.
• Deliver a consistently high level of client service with clear, professional communication.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives to attract new instructions and strengthen introducer relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and paralegals, delegating work appropriately to maximise team efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or experienced Legal Adviser specialising in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical expertise in residential property law, including complex transactions.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail.
• Strategic approach to workload management, confident in delegation and collaboration.
• Commercially aware with a client‑centred mindset and understanding of business priorities.
• Demonstrable interest or experience in business development and relationship building.
