Conveyancing Title Checker – Residential Property Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Title Checker to join our fast‑growing residential conveyancing team in Leeds. You will work on a busy caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions, ensuring each deal progresses smoothly while upholding the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed freehold and leasehold title checks on residential property transactions.
• Prepare comprehensive enquiries for sellers' solicitors and produce initial and final property reports for clients.
• Provide clear technical guidance to Conveyancers and Conveyancing Assistants on required actions.
• Assist with indemnity policies, probate documentation, independent legal advice letters and repossession contracts where appropriate.
• Audit colleagues' files and deliver constructive technical feedback.
• Support the wider team with complex title and conveyancing queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential title checking.
• Proven ability to sign off both freehold and leasehold sales and purchase transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to minimizing post‑completion issues.
