Corporate Account Handler

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Account Handler to work closely with a portfolio of mid‑size corporate clients, supporting them with insurance solutions that drive growth. You will partner with experienced Account Directors on complex, often international programmes and play a direct role in client advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 15‑30 corporate clients with turnover between £50 m and £500 m across sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, food & drink, retail, technology and life sciences.
• Oversee cross‑class risks including property, liability, motor, fleet, cyber and professional indemnity.
• Act as the primary day‑to‑day contact, building strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with Account Directors on complex placements, programme design, renewals and mid‑term adjustments.
• Prepare market submissions, negotiate with insurers and identify gaps in cover.
• Support cross‑sell and upsell opportunities and contribute to client meetings and reviews.

Required profile

• Commercial insurance broking experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients ranging from £50 m to £500 m turnover.
• Strong cross‑class knowledge of property, liability, motor, cyber and financial lines.
• Confidence working with senior stakeholders and Account Directors.
• Proactive communication style and a collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Experience with the Acturis broking platform (advantageous).
