Corporate Audit Senior – Hybrid Role in South East England

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to lead corporate audit, accountancy and tax engagements for a diverse client base across Kent and the South‑East. The role is based in the Medway area and provides a hybrid working pattern, supporting both on‑site client work and remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and review audit assignments for corporate clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare and deliver accountancy and tax services to owner‑managed businesses and not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Supervise junior team members, delegate work and ensure quality control throughout the audit process.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part‑qualified with a strong audit background.
• Experience gained in a practice environment as an Audit Semi‑Senior, Senior or Associate within a Top‑Tier, Mid‑Tier or large independent accountancy firm.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate work, with excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Motivation to progress within a top‑30 chartered accountancy firm in the Medway region.
