Corporate & Commercial Solicitor – Glasgow (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join our thriving Glasgow team. The role offers a mix of high‑quality transactional work and genuine career progression within a supportive, hybrid‑working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, investments and business restructures.
• Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements and commercial contracts.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance and shareholder matters.
• Manage transactions from inception through to completion.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Support junior lawyers and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Proven experience handling M&A and other transactional work.
• Confident in managing client relationships and complex matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Commercially pragmatic problem‑solving approach.
• Enjoys mentoring junior team members and collaborating with colleagues.
