Corporate HR Lead

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Corporate HR Lead on a nine‑month fixed‑term contract to support its high‑performing HR team. The role will work closely with senior leadership and the executive committee to deliver strategic HR solutions that drive the company’s ecological transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership and the executive committee to provide strategic HR advice and business insights.
• Lead and motivate a team of Employee Relations Specialists and HR Business Partners, ensuring high service standards.
• Oversee talent mapping, succession planning and workforce planning across corporate business lines.
• Provide expert employee‑relations guidance, manage complex disciplinary and grievance cases, and act as the escalation point for trade‑union matters.
• Direct the annual pay, bonus, objective‑setting and personal development processes for the business unit.
• Support TUPE transitions, potential mergers and the cascading of HR strategy throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability with a strategic mindset.
• Experience acting as a trusted advisor to board‑level executives and senior leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of employee‑relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent mapping, succession planning and workforce planning.
• Ability to manage complex HR projects such as TUPE and merger integrations.
