About the role
This permanent, onsite position is based in Chelmsford and sits at the intersection of client servicing and team leadership within a corporate broking environment. You will continue to work directly with corporate insurance clients while also guiding a team of Account Handlers to raise service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate insurance clients, overseeing renewals and ongoing servicing.
- Support, mentor and supervise Account Handlers on day‑to‑day tasks.
- Ensure high‑quality service delivery and maintain client confidence.
- Coordinate team activities to meet deadlines and business objectives.
- Identify and resolve issues that could impact client retention.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a corporate Account Handler in insurance.
- Strong credibility with clients and dependable support for colleagues.
- Ability to stay calm under competing priorities and drive results.
- Leadership mindset focused on practical guidance rather than hierarchical management.
