Corporate Solicitor (1-4 PQE)

About the role

This position offers a newly qualified solicitor the chance to join a high‑performing corporate team in Southampton, working alongside experienced partners on a varied portfolio of transactions and advisory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with share and asset acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and reorganisations.
• Prepare and file company secretarial documents and maintain corporate registers.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and draft transactional documentation.
• Support shareholders and corporate governance arrangements, including share options.
• Contribute to non‑transactional advisory work and gradually take ownership of own matters.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with an interest in corporate law.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial mindset.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable managing own workload while collaborating with colleagues.

Required skills

• Knowledge of company law and corporate transactions.
