Corporate Solicitor (1-4 years PQE)

About the role

Our client is a well‑established regional law practice seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 1‑4 years post‑qualification experience to join a high‑performing corporate team in Southampton. You will work alongside partners and senior fee‑earners, gaining exposure to a strong pipeline of transactional work and a diverse range of corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support share and asset acquisitions and disposals, including due‑diligence coordination.
• Prepare and file company secretarial documents and corporate governance arrangements.
• Assist with joint ventures, share options, reorganisations, and general company law matters.
• Provide both transactional and non‑transactional advisory support to clients.
• Gradually take ownership of own matters and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor or candidate with a genuine interest in corporate law.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to stay organised in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially minded, confident using technology and eager to learn.
• Proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high‑quality service.
