Corporate Solicitor – 3-5 PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience to join a growing corporate team in Newbury. The role involves advising business owners, entrepreneurs and SMEs across technology, IT and life‑science sectors on high‑value transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buy‑outs and founder exits.
• Draft and negotiate shareholders’ agreements, joint venture documents, private‑equity and early‑stage investment agreements.
• Provide corporate governance advice and support group reorganisations and partnership agreements.
• Support senior partners on complex deals and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3‑5 years PQE and a strong corporate law background, preferably from private practice.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A and private‑equity transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities with strong commercial awareness.
• Proactive, organised and able to build lasting client relationships.
