Corporate Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join our expanding corporate team in Berkshire. You will work with business owners, entrepreneurs, SMEs and corporate clients across technology, IT and life‑science sectors, delivering high‑value transactions and providing strategic legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of mergers and acquisitions, disposals, management buy‑outs and founder exits.
• Draft and negotiate shareholders' agreements, joint venture documents, private‑equity and early‑stage investment contracts.
• Support senior lawyers on complex transactions and contribute to business‑development initiatives.
• Provide corporate governance and partnership agreement advice to a diverse client base.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate law.
• Demonstrated experience in M&A, private‑equity or related corporate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, organised approach.
