Corporate Tax Assistant Manager – Hybrid (High Wycombe)

About the role

This is a genuine Corporate Tax Assistant Manager position with a growing, high‑calibre accountancy practice in High Wycombe. You will manage a varied portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, international groups, charities and larger corporate clients while gaining exposure to advisory work across structuring, transactions, R&D, capital allowances and international tax.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporation tax computations.
• Manage key return, payment and client deadlines.
• Liaise directly with clients and HMRC.
• Support tax planning and advisory assignments.
• Provide exposure to international tax, capital allowances, R&D tax relief, transfer pricing, corporate interest restriction, withholding tax and double tax relief.
• Assist with transactions, due diligence, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring projects.
• Review junior team members' work and support their development.
• Build strong, long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Experience as a Corporate Tax Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager.
• Ability to take responsibility for a varied corporate portfolio.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to develop technically without commuting to London.
