Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager – Advisory Focus

About the role

The role is an advisory‑focused corporate tax position based in Leeds. Working closely with senior team members, you will support and eventually lead tax advisory projects for a diverse client base, ranging from owner‑managed businesses to large international groups and private‑equity‑backed organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advisory projects for a variety of clients.
• Conduct transactions and due‑diligence assignments.
• Support restructuring and reorganisation initiatives.
• Handle international tax matters.
• Work on private‑equity‑backed transactions.
• Provide shareholder and business‑owner planning advice.
• Assist clients through periods of significant growth and change.

Required profile

• CTA qualified or studying towards CTA.
• Corporate tax experience gained within practice.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities.
• Genuine interest in advisory work.
• Proactive approach to learning and client relationship building.
• For Assistant Manager level, some advisory exposure is beneficial.
• For Manager level, demonstrable experience leading advisory projects.
