Corporate Tax Assistant Manager / Manager – Advisory Role

About the role

This is a client‑facing corporate tax position based in Guildford, offering a blend of compliance work and advisory projects. You will manage a portfolio of owner‑managed businesses, SMEs and corporate groups while working closely with senior partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review corporate tax compliance for a varied client base.
• Deliver advisory services such as restructuring, group planning and tax‑efficient structuring.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Collaborate with partners and senior stakeholders on complex tax matters.
• Identify planning opportunities and contribute to advisory‑led assignments.
• Support and mentor junior tax team members.

Required profile

• ACA/CTA or ATT/CTA qualified (or on track to complete CTA).
• Experience within a UK accountancy practice or in‑house corporate tax role.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax.
• Proactive, commercially aware and comfortable working autonomously.
