Corporate Tax Compliance Manager

About the role

You will play a key role in overseeing tax compliance work for a large multinational organisation, ensuring all UK and international tax obligations are met accurately and efficiently. This permanent position also offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic tax projects and support junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of UK direct tax obligations, including preparation, review and submission of corporate tax returns and related calculations.
• Produce tax provisions and disclosures for group reporting and statutory financial statements.
• Support cash tax forecasting, quarterly tax payment assessments and periodic tax reporting in line with group accounting standards.
• Oversee overseas tax compliance, coordinating with external advisers and monitoring filing deadlines across jurisdictions.
• Assist in developing the tax governance framework and ensure compliance with Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence legislation.
• Provide tax advice on acquisitions, restructures and other strategic initiatives, and keep stakeholders informed of legislative changes.
• Mentor and develop junior tax team members, fostering capability and performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and advisory practices within the business services sector.
• Professional tax or accounting qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA.
• Proven experience handling tax compliance processes, financial reporting and complex tax matters.
• Experience delivering tax planning strategies and supporting large‑scale UK organisations.
