Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established chartered accountancy firm in Faversham, Kent. The Corporate Tax Manager will join a successful tax team, delivering both compliance and advisory services to owner‑managed businesses across Kent and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and tax due diligence.
• Prepare R&D tax relief claims.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, complex companies or groups.
• Oversee basic corporation tax compliance to ensure deadlines are met.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, STEP qualified or equivalent experience.
• Significant corporate tax advisory/planning experience gained within an accounting or tax boutique firm.
• Background in firms of any size, from independent practices to top‑tier firms.
• Motivation to progress within a fast‑growing tax practice.
