Corporate Tax Manager – Tax Compliance & Advisory

About the role

The Corporate Tax Manager will lead tax compliance, advisory and planning services for a portfolio of clients operating in the business services sector. Based in Liverpool, you will work closely with clients to ensure their tax affairs align with UK legislation while supporting their broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate tax compliance processes for assigned client portfolios.
• Provide tax advisory services to help clients achieve their strategic goals.
• Identify and implement tax planning and optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Ensure adherence to UK tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Support and mentor junior team members through training and technical guidance.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
• Contribute to the development of internal tax processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Professional tax qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and regulations.
• Proven experience managing client portfolios within the business services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Professional tax qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA).
