Corporate Tax Senior (Bristol)

About the role

Our client’s Corporate Tax team in Bristol is expanding and is looking for a driven Corporate Tax Senior. This position offers the chance to move beyond a compliance‑focused role and develop advisory expertise across a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for a range of clients.
• Support advisory projects such as capital allowances, R&D tax relief, tax due diligence, transactions and corporate restructuring.
• Develop specialist knowledge in share schemes, complex corporate tax matters and innovation reliefs.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Conduct tax technical research and contribute to broader client engagements.
• Manage tax‑related administrative duties and support business development activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, HMRC and professional contacts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a corporate tax role.
• ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or part‑qualified with a desire to complete CTA studies).
• Strong technical knowledge and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Good understanding of compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional, proactive and client‑focused attitude.
