Corporate Tax Senior Manager

About the role

Pro-Finance is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join its Milton Keynes office. This senior‑level position combines portfolio management, complex corporate tax work, advisory projects and team development, offering a real opportunity to influence the growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients, including owner‑managed businesses and subsidiaries of international groups.
• Oversee annual corporation tax compliance, reporting requirements and client billing.
• Advise clients on tax risks, HMRC matters and planning opportunities.
• Work with complex group structures and address related corporate tax issues.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional tax and broader business services.
• Review work, support technical development of junior colleagues and conduct appraisals.
• Contribute to departmental management meetings and support partners with business development and networking.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
• Significant experience in the corporate or business tax department of a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, especially with complex companies and groups.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and build trusted relationships.
• Commercially aware with a track record of identifying advisory and business development opportunities.
• Experienced people manager who enjoys developing junior colleagues.

Required skills

• Alphatax (experience beneficial, training can be provided).
