Cover Supervisor – Daily Cover (Flexible)

About the role
Academics is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to provide daily cover in secondary schools across St. Albans. You will step into the classroom when a teacher is absent, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive atmosphere for students.
Key responsibilities
- Enter the classroom during teacher absence and deliver the planned lesson.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure student safety.
- Follow and adapt existing lesson plans as required.
- Record attendance and provide brief feedback to school staff.
Required profile
- Reliable and adaptable individual confident in managing a classroom.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Genuine passion for education and making a difference to students.
- Availability to work in secondary schools within the St. Albans area.
