About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across St Helens. The role offers a variety of placements, from daily supply to longer‑term assignments, providing valuable classroom experience for graduates, aspiring teachers and those with prior experience working with young people.
Key responsibilities
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Deliver lesson plans and support teachers during periods of absence.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and student groups.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, teaching staff and school leadership.
Required profile
- Confident classroom management skills.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Reliability and adaptability to varied schedules.
- Interest in gaining experience within the education sector.
